A shout-out to all my peeps!
Dear Thespians,

An invitation to invite your friends and family to join the Hartpury Drama Group

Hartpury Drama Group is always looking for keen new members to join us - whether on stage, behind stage or in front of it!
We welcome any age, regardless of experience. To keep us going with vibrancy, we must always, collectively as a group, seek to swell our ranks. It is for this reason we ask you to invite friends and family to consider becoming a member.
Let them know that we have rehearsals (when we are preparing for a production to take place) at Hartpury Village Hall at 7 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Encourage them to join not only to consider being on stage and in the limelight, but because - in addition to HDG putting on two shows a year - they can also enjoy our many social events that we organise throughout the year.
As a member, they are welcome to attend our:
  • BBQ Suppers
  • Social Supper Nights
  • our AGM evening with entertainment thrown in
  • our Safari Roam About Events. and now:
  • our Actors’ Workshops (free to attend and open to members and non-members).
Members
So, if you think amateur dramatics might be of interest to a friend or family member, then please have them contact the Secretary at hartpurydramagroup1973@gmail.com. We will arrange a convenient time for them to come down to see us in action, either when we have a script read-through, rehearsals underway, or a workshop running. If after seeing us they decide that they would like to be involved they will be warmly invited to become a member.
Membership is just £10 per year.

Acting Skills - Workshop
Join our workshops to learn and/or improve you acting skills.
Drama Workshop - Hamlet
This year we have Acting Workshops planned to commence on April 9th with two successive workshops to follow on May 14th and Jume 11th.
These will be held in the meeting room of Hartbury Village Hall from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
An acting workshop is where skilled directors and actors mentor and coach others and offer tips on how to improve preparation for roles and enhance performing abilities with the main objective to provide primary acting skills and improve on those already attained. The Workshops are free and are open for anyone to attend; members and non-members alike - so do invite along friends who would like to give acting a go. It is hoped some of those attending might result in one or two being encouraged to not only perform in short sketches but also give a try at organising and producing one.

To allow us to plan and cater appropriately please express your interest to the Secretary by email:
